MS Marco Polo is a cruise ship owned by Global Maritime, under charter to Transocean Tours, Germany.[2] She was built in 1965 by Mathias-Thesen Werft, East Germany as MS Alexandr Pushkin for the Soviet Union's Baltic Shipping Company. The MV Aurora entered service in April 2000 and is owned and operated by P&O Cruises (now a part of Carnival Corporation). She was built by Meyer Werft in Germany and has a Gross Registered Tonnage (GRT) of 76,152 tonnes and is 270 metres long, with a beam of 32.20 metres. Her draught of 7.9 metres means that she can enter and exit most commercial ports around the world without much difficulty. Grand Carnival Cruise.......

Grand Celebration is a Holiday class cruise ship that is operated by Iberocruceros. She was built in 1986 by Kockums Varv in Malmö, Sweden for Carnival Cruise Lines as Celebration. The Grand Celebration has 2 sister ships. The Holiday operates for Carnival Cruise Lines and the Pacific Sun operates for P&O Cruises Australia. The Celebration was retired from their fleet in April 2008. The Grand Celebration had an extensive refit before re-entering service. The refit included new hull artwork. Unlike Carnival's other retired purpose built ships, the trademark whale tail funnel was not altered or removed. The funnel was only painted over. The Grand Celebration entered into service for Iberocruceros in the summer of 2008.. more..

Nieuw Amsterdam......

The refit took 18 months and cost more than her original construction, but on October 29, 1947, the Nieuw Amsterdam was finally back on the transatlantic run. Her passenger accommodations had been slightly altered, and the ship emerged with a gross tonnage some 400 tons larger than before, ending up at 36,667 tons. For the next twenty years Nieuw Amsterdam would enjoy a loyal following and financial success. Even when joined by a more contemporary fleet-mate in 1959, the SS Rotterdam, the Nieuw Amsterdam still commanded a loyal following and remained one of the most popular ships on the north Atlantic. Her several refits in the 1950s ensured she remained in top condition and continued service despite her being near thirty years of age. In 1967 severe boiler problems seemed to indicate an end to the venerable liner’s career, however new US Navy surplus boilers were installed during a 16 week shipyard period at Wilton Fijenoord in Schiedam and her career continued. more..

Disney Magic......

The Disney Wonder alternates between 3- and 4-night cruises. Visiting Nassau and Disney's own private island Castaway Cay, with the 4-night cruise offering an additional day at sea.

In October 2006, the Wonder went into dry dock for a general sprucing up and the addition of new features, many of which were introduced to the Disney Magic in 2005. A toddler pool was added that features interactive fountains and splash zones. A new computer simulator was put into the refurbished Oceaneer Lab that lets kids "steer" Disney Wonder in and out of port. more..

Star Lauro Cruises......

Originally founded as Lauro Lines by Achille Lauro, the company entered the cruise business in the 1960s. Operating two ships, the Angelina Lauro and MS Achille Lauro, both of which met fiery ends. After the Angelina Lauro burnt in the port of St.Thomas in 1979, Lauro Lines, also called Flotta Lauro, met bad times. Now operating just one ship, the Achille Lauro. In 1985 the Achille Lauro was hijacked by members of the Palestine Liberation Front, and the much-publicised event further dropped passenger numbers. In 1987 Flotta Lauro was purchased by Mediterranean Shipping Company and renamed StarLauro Cruises. In 1994, the Achille Lauro caught fire and sank. MS Navigator of the Seas.....

Navigator of the Seas is one of Royal Caribbean International's five Voyager-class cruise ships. She was once one of the largest in the fleet and still ranks among the largest passenger ships in the world. Constructed at Aker Finnyards in Turku, Finland, the ship measures 138,279 gross tons and can carry 3,114 passengers, plus crew. Her length is 1,020 feet and with a beam of 157.5 feet. As of April 2007, she began departing exclusively from Southampton, UK, on cruises throughout Europe and the Mediterranean. Currently, the Navigator spends winters sailing four and five night cruises from Port Everglades in Florida, and spends the summers sailing from both Barcelona, Spain and Civitaveccia, Italy. more..
